Why A Musto Riding Coat Keeps You Dry

By Eula Nichols

There are a number of reasons why a Musto riding coat is one of the best sellers in equestrian outer wear. The brand has been trusted for many years and has literally thousands of loyal customers. Once they have worn a jacket made with the advanced technology of the ZP 176 line, they know that it just cannot be beaten.

After spending months trying to find a company that was interested in making water proof clothing for sailors, Keith decided to take matters into his own hands and founded his own company. Initially the new jackets, hats and trousers were designed with the needs or sailors in mind. But it didn't take long for the Keith and the company to realise that the horse world was just as much in need of a whole new range of water proof clothing as they were.

Riders today can stay warm and dry, whilst still looking great. The coats are designed to be close fitting and flatter any figure. They are also carefully crafted to avoid any bulk and help the rider stay comfortable in the saddle. The fabrics utilize all the latest technology to ensure that the jackets really are one hundred percent water proof.

The company has teamed up with Olympic rider Zara Phillips to produce a wonderful range of riding coats and gilets. These provide the opportunity for layering so that one jacket can be used for all seasons. Simply adding an extra layer underneath in the very coldest weather adds warmth but not bulk. It is still easy to ride even in the depths of winter.

A good riding coat is an absolute essential. Most people continue to ride throughout the winter months, either indoors or out. They need a jacket that is light enough to be comfortable, yet still provides enough protection from the elements. The classic Grooms Jacket is the perfect answer. It is contoured for comfort and has a strong zippered front. Combining breathable fabric with shower proof material it is one of the companies best sellers.

One of the most innovative features of the range is the ZP 176 technology. This incorporates many special features such as breathable fabrics that actually draw moisture away from the rider. This is a great feature that is especially useful for those who are training hard for competition.

The Warm Up Jacket is also breathable, but adds an extra layer of protection. It is water proof and also incorporates four way stretch and is perfect for the active rider. It can be teamed with an additional liner layer for cold weather riding. It is available in sizes eight to eighteen.

Buying a Musto riding coat is easy. Simply log on to the company site and use the store locator button to find the nearest retail outlet. Alternatively jackets can be ordered on line and shipped right away. It is always worth checking on special offers and free shipping deals.

Natural Treatment For MS Patients

By Jerri Perry

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease of the brain and spinal cord. It is characterized by lesions more familiarly known as plaques. Symptoms initially include weakness, numbness and tingling and visual disturbances. As the disease progresses, urinary difficulties may be present. Pharmaceutical preparations can retard the disease. Symptoms may also be controlled by natural treatment for MS.

Multiple Sclerosis is one of a group of diseases called autoimmune disorders. In this case, cells of the immune system known as T-cells are believed to attack the myelin sheaths that line nerve cells to facilitate nerve conduction. The incidence and prevalence of the condition vary with geological region; cases tend to cluster with increasing distance from the equator.

Once believed to affect only the white matter of the brain, it has become clear that the grey matter of the brain is also involved. This would explain such diffuse symptoms as cognitive dysfunction. Epidemiologists are trying to figure out what is so special about the regions where the disease is prevalent. It has been noted that people who are born in a region with low levels of MS migrate to a region where levels are high, they take on the phenotype of their new habitat.

George Jelinek, a professor of Emergency Medicine in Australia, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at the age of 45. He keeps his condition under control using a few simple lifestyle rules and runs a 5-day retreat at the Gawler Foundation in Australia for patients with multiple sclerosis. He also runs retreats in New Zealand.

Jelinek has five simple rules: Learn how to meditate, exercise regularly, take high doses of vitamin D and completely avoid trans fats, apart from those that occur naturally in vegetables. Conventional medications are permitted. In fact, Professor Jelinek himself takes glatiramer, an immunomodulator.

The wife of Mitt Romney, Ann, went to the doctor in 1998 after experiencing the notorious brain fog. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. She made public the information that horseback riding offers her protection from the symptoms. It is noteworthy that this is compliant with the Jelinek protocol. When a television presenter at MSNBC publicly poked fun at her for saying this, it flushed out another person with MS, Fox News Channel senior Neil Cavuto, who had strong words for him.

Another celebrities who has been affected by the disease is Jack Osborne, son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. He first suffered visual difficulties in 2012, when he was 26 years old and a new father. Jack is responding to a healthy eating plan. Other celebrities with the condition include legendary Mousekateer Annette Funicello, country singer Donna Fargo and two of the Osmond Brothers, David and Alan.

There is a promising natural treatment for MS in Europe. It consists of an extract of two compounds found in marijuana called cannabinoids. The drug is available as an oral spray, similar to breath freshener, and it is used to combat the spasticity that is associated with multiple sclerosis.
